Welcome to Chiedza

Chiedza is a local non-governmental organisation established in 2001 and registered with the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare in 2003, PVO 58/23. Currently we are operating in Harare South and Zvimba districts.

About us in brief

We have developed a holistic model premised on four thematic areas; Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition and Economic Strengthening.

A Zimbabwe where children are happy, healthy and empowered with bright futures.

To provide access to education, child protection, health and nutrition services to orphans and other vulnerable children including those with disabilities and living with HIV. We work with caregivers and young people to economically assist them to reach their full potential.

Chiedza  is a community-based NGO  registered with the Ministry of Public  Service, Labour and Social Development in 2003, PVO 58/23 . It was established in 2001 by concerned professionals and citizens of Zimbabwe in response to the devastating impact of HIV and AIDS on children and families. They were touched by an increasing number of orphans as a result of AIDS-related deaths. With the advent of antiretroviral therapy,  the organization continued to adapt responding to the impact of HIV and AIDS on children and their families.
