Spiwe Chakawa
Spiwe is the Executive Director of Chiedza, bringing over 20 years of experience advancing opportunities for vulnerable children and young people through education and community development. She holds a BSc Honours in Psychology, an MSc in Development Studies, and is both a Common Purpose - Southern Africa Fellow and an African Visionary Fellow. Spiwe is passionate about building strategic partnerships and strengthening locally led solutions that create lasting, transformative impact.
Bernard Jani
Bernard is the Head of Finance and Administration at Chiedza, with more than two decades of leadership in finance and organizational management. He holds an MBA, a Professional Diploma from ICSAZ, and a Higher Accounting Diploma from SAAA. He ensures financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, providing the foundation for Chiedza's sustainable impact.
Fortunate Shadaya
Fortunate is the Head of Programs at Chiedza, bringing over 20 years of experience in Child Protection, Education, Social Welfare, and Community Development. She holds a BSC in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Child Sensitive Social Policies and has led the design and implementation of high-impact programmes supporting vulnerable children and young people across Zimbabwe. Passionate about strengthening families and expanding access to education and skills development, Fortunate provides strategic leadership to Chiedza's programmes, partnerships, and impact initiatives.
